Job Description

• Identifying efficient methods to organize, store, and analyze data while maintaining strict security and confidentiality measures.


• Maintaining data management plans and instructions for operating complex business systems


• Overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures


• Evaluating the design, selection, and implementation of database changes by comparing them with business requirements and design documents


• Assessing system performance and making recommendations for hardware, software, and data storage improvements


• Execute the organization's business intelligence (BI) strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives


• Create and manage comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information.

Requirements

• First degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science or information technology. Candidates with other backgrounds such as mathematics, statistics, or other science-related fields may be considered


• MBA or Masters in related discipline is an advantage.


• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with an E & P Company


• Candidates with additional training, working with modern databases and IT technologies such as Linux configuration, SQL database, Perl, Python and other specified data management applications will be an added advantage.


• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, with the ability to design and implement complex data visualizations.
