Position Overview:




  • We are looking for a motivated and passionate Blood Bank Mobilizer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in community engagement, donor recruitment, and organizing blood donation drives to ensure a sustainable and adequate blood supply for our blood bank.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Community Outreach & Awareness: Plan and implement campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

  • Donor Recruitment: Identify and recruit blood donors through partnerships with schools, religious institutions, NGOs, and community groups.

  • Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate blood donation drives, ensuring all logistics (equipment, refreshments, promotional materials) are in place.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and local leaders to support blood donation efforts.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of donor information and outcomes from blood drives. Prepare and submit regular reports on donor recruitment and mobilization activities.

  • Promotional Activities: Design and distribute promotional materials (flyers, posters, social media content) to attract potential donors.

  • Donor Retention: Engage with donors post-donation, ensuring a positive experience and encouraging repeat donations.

  • Compliance & Safety: Educate donors on eligibility criteria and ensure adherence to all health and safety guidelines related to blood donation.



Qualifications:




  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Proven experience in community mobilization, public health campaigns, or event planning is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of blood donation processes and eligibility criteria is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in using digital tools for outreach, social media management, and database maintenance.
