Job Description



The Business Development Associate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of eLimu by identifying and securing new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and expanding eLimu’s market presence. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and a passion for education technology.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the educational technology sector.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, licensing deals, and client acquisition, particularly in the K-12 education space.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, Brands, educational institutions, and industry influencers.

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and use this information to drive strategic decisions.

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches to potential clients and partners, highlighting the value and benefits of our products.

  • Work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company goals and product offerings

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that support business development efforts, including lead generation, content marketing, and social media strategies

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales materials, training programs, and tools to support the sales team and enhance their effectiveness.

  • Lead negotiations and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics to the senior management team.



Qualifications




  • 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the EdTech or educational sector.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of the educational technology market and K-12 education sector.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools.

  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.

  • A genuine interest in education and a passion for creating positive learning experiences for children.
