Job Description






Main Duties




  • Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way

  • Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties

  • Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed

  • Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered.



Qualifications




  • Minimum of SSCE Certificate

  • Certificate / Diploma in food related courses.

  • 3 - 6 years of experience.

  • Communication: The ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and create a collaborative atmosphere

  • Food safety: The ability to maintain a clean workspace and ensure food is safe to eat

  • Cooking techniques: The ability to understand ingredients and how they interact with each other in different cooking techniques

  • Time management: The ability to orchestrate the kitchen team to meet the demands of peak dining hours

  • Creativity: The ability to develop innovative and visually appealing dishes

  • Food preparation:The ability to prepare and cook food according to established recipes and standards.
