Job Summary:

• Responsible to ensure the correctness of Accounting Records in Orion along with the timely payments to all suppliers. Monitor payment terms of supplier & process payments as per the terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• To reconcile Customer Control Account & Debtors Suspense Account on weekly basis.


• To reconcile & prepare Monthly Accounts payable report, IOU report, Prepayments report & share the same with GM Finance.


• To verify all Bank payments entries in Orion & Bank portal to make sure no mistake in the entries or payment uploads.


• To prepare all Export Invoices & reconcile the Export customer ledger to ensure the correct booking of receipts & invoices.


• To Capitalise all the Fixed Assets & doing GRN of the same in Orion.


• Checking & approval of all Import Material GRN’s & verify the costing documents received from HO.


• Checking of all Sales related float claim & approving the same based on policies set for approval. After checking get the same approved from HOD.


• Booking of all Air tickets for Business purpose as well as leave tickets of Expats based on the policies set.


• To check & verify the Salary payments for Nationals & Sales Promoters.


• Checking & approval of all Journal Vouchers to be posted in Orion.


• Checking & approval of all cash payment vouchers as per the policies set.


• Preparation of Monthly Cash Budget by 1st of every month.


• To perform all other tasks as required by the Management.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Financial Reporting- Timeliness & Accuracy.


• Bank Payments – Correctness & timeliness


• Effectiveness of Internal controls


• Timely payment to Vendors


• Timely recording of Assets & other entries


• Timely booking of tickets at lesser price

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience as an accountant within the manufacturing space


• Professional certification/membership (ICAN)


• B.Sc or HND in Accounting or any finance related course


• Taxation, Compliance and Regulatory knowledge


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, sharepoints and ERP finance module
