We are looking to hire a Chartered Accountant for our client, a Confectionery company in Victoria Island, Lagos. 

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation with the stores, Bakery and delivery


• Daily download of sales report for the auditor


• Preparation of monthly sales report


• Preparation of monthly income statement


• Processing statement for all statutory deductions (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension and Consumption)


• Bi-weekly procurement of consumables for the Bakery & stores


• Stock movement reconciliation and inventory valuation on a monthly basis


• Baked goods historical numbers for stores


• Gelato & Baked discrepancy calculation with the auditor


• Bank statement analysis


• Sending of pay slip to staff on a monthly basis


• Posting of daily expenses for the preparation of operational expense for the month


• POS reconciliation on a monthly basis


• Monthly stock level analysis and procurement


• Monthly stock count


• Any other duty assigned

Qualifications

• BSC/MSC in Accounting 


• ACCA certification or any other relevant certification


• At least 7 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant
