Location: Iganmu & Ikotun, Lagos

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations within the Warehouse.


• Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan.


• Give daily/weekly/monthly reports detailing health and safety within the warehouses.


• Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.


• Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications.


• Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.


• Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).


• Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.


• Conducts toolbox meetings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent


• 2 years’ HSE experience in a the FMCG/Manufacturing environment


• Very good understanding of safety procedures are related to a Warehouse/Distribution Centre


• Numerical skills and a high level of computer literacy


• Effective problem solver


• Strong attention to detail
