ASWHAN in collaboration with Love Alliance is implementing Through Last Mile grants, innovative approaches for working deeply with communities to understand the needs and priorities of the most underserved and to promote and amplify their representation, through capacity building, agenda setting and advocacy. Examples of underserved groups that this programme aims to support include – but are not limited to – children of key populations and people with advanced HIV disease or AIDS. The Coalition Members will Work deeply with the underserved Communities, Stakeholders and Partners to amplify the representation of women in the uptake of PMTCT/Pediatric services through, agenda setting and advocacy.



Job description




  • To work deeply with ASWHAN to Advocate for the underserved communities and strengthen laws and Policies that support uptake of HIV services.

  • The Coalition Members will Work deeply with the underserved Communities, Stakeholders, CSos and Networks to amplify the representation of women in the uptake of PMTCT/Pediatric services through, agenda setting and advocacy.



Qualification and Requirement for Organizations



Experience working with community and civil society organizations




  • Experience working with Women living with HIV, Female Sex workers, PWID, and Teenage mother

  • Experience working with Network of people Living with HIV and AIDS

  • Able to demonstrate adequate understanding of commitment to HIV issues and intersecting forms of discrimination including gender, and HIV and gender equality as a development issue

  • Experience working with HIV policies, Prevention policy, Gender policy and HIV Anti-Discrimination law

  • Able to understand gaps in vertical transmission of HIV and Pediatric treatment

  • A member of Prevention technical working group, Gender Technical working group and or any other human right technical working group

  • Experience working closely with Health workers.

  • Experience working with stakeholders and international partners

  • Experience working closely with Key population women living with HIV

  • Experience in conducting result based Advocacy and also advocating for human right
