Job Description
Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes as per recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all meals are prepared on time with consistent quality and taste.
Menu Execution:
- Assist in planning menus and suggest new recipes.
- Modify recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions when required.
Kitchen Operations:
- Manage food inventory, ensure proper storage, and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
Equipment and Tools Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff when necessary.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 - 5 years experience.
