Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Cooking:




  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes as per recipes and quality standards.

  • Ensure all meals are prepared on time with consistent quality and taste.



Menu Execution:




  • Assist in planning menus and suggest new recipes.

  • Modify recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions when required.



Kitchen Operations:




  • Manage food inventory, ensure proper storage, and minimize waste.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.



Equipment and Tools Maintenance:




  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.

  • Report any malfunctioning equipment or hazards to the supervisor promptly.



Team Collaboration:




  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist in training junior kitchen staff when necessary.



Requirements




  • Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 - 5 years experience.
