As a Tele -Loan Collection Officer , you will be responsible for:
- Reaching out to potential customers via phone calls to manage and review a business's debtors list to learn about due payments and remind them as necessary.
- Initiate and continue communications with customers until they clear their debts. Also advising them on payment options and assist with choosing the one they find most comfortable.
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and recovery activities.
- Once customers settle their debts, collections officers note this and update their payment records in the debtors' list or ledger. Updated records can prevent confusion, such as calling a customer who has completed their payments..
- Collections officers help businesses avoid excessive debt defaults that may affect their bottom line and hinder their ability to sustain operations.
- Respond to Customers' Queries.
Qualifications
- SSCE / NCE / OND / HND / B.Ed / BSc.
- Previous experience in telesales or customer service is a plus.
- Must not be older than 30 years.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
