• As a Software Engineer, you will get a chance to work on all of our Android codebases and the APIs that power them. You will help build and ship new user-facing features on Android. Additionally, you will collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver the highest quality mobile experiences to our supported devices. We are looking for a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for a new teammate with some experience in the following;

• 1-3 years of experience developing Android mobile applications, with an added advantage of at least 1 sample project on the Google Play Store.


• Experience with developing apps with Android SDK.


• Familiarity with Room, LiveData, Coroutines, Retrofit, WorkManager, etc.


• Knowledge of Android Architecture and experience with third-party libraries and APIs


• Have a passion for large and complex platforms and how to optimize your customers' experience


• Ability to enhance team collaboration while working with cross-functional teams


• A technical mindset with great attention to detail


• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies


• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle from development to release.


• Interest in building fintech solutions - wallets, payments integrations etc.
