Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical equipment used in food production processes.


• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.


• Process Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to enhance machinery performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.


• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all mechanical systems meet safety, health, and regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with food industry regulations.


• Technical Support & Documentation: Provide technical support, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate records of all engineering activities and repairs.


• Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams to implement effective solutions for ongoing production challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.


• 3-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.


• Strong understanding of food manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes.


• Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with industry-standard maintenance tools.


• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in a high-paced manufacturing environment.


• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
