- As a Mining Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily site activities, ensuring safe and efficient gold and lithium extraction, adherence to industry standards, and environmental protection.

Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mining operations on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with geological standards.
- Lead and mentor blue-collar workers, promoting a collaborative and motivated team culture.
- Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental best practices, minimising the ecological footprint of the mining operations.
- Conduct routine site inspections to assess safety, quality, and compliance with geological and environmental protocols.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide regular reports on operational progress, safety performance, and environmental impact to management.
- Foster a culture of ethical practice, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of the mining operations.
- Train and develop workers to enhance their skills and knowledge in sustainable mining practices and geology-related activities.
- Collaborate with the management team to continuously improve operational processes, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mining operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of geological principles, mining techniques, and environmental management practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, transparency, and integrity in previous roles.
- Experience in supervising blue-collar workers in a mining or construction environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and environmental protection protocols.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a focus on safety, quality, and ethical conduct.
- The ability to communicate effectively in Hausa is highly desired to facilitate smooth communication with local workers and stakeholders.
