Job Description
- The Sourcing and Recruitment Officer will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent to meet the workforce needs of the organization. This includes developing effective recruitment strategies, maintaining a strong talent pipeline, and ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
- Identify and source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
Recruitment Process Management:
- Draft and post job descriptions based on workforce requirements.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates for further evaluation.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct background checks and verify references.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the HR team and department heads to forecast staffing needs.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract skilled and qualified professionals, especially in bread production, quality control, and distribution roles.
Employer Branding:
- Promote the company’s employer brand to attract top talent.
- Represent the company at career fairs and industry events.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of recruitment activities and candidates.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the HR Manager on recruitment progress.
Compliance:
- Ensure all recruitment activities align with labor laws and company policies.
- Uphold confidentiality and fairness in the recruitment process.
