Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Engineer to support our design and construction projects with technical expertise and leadership.


• This role involves collaborating with the project team, managing the planning process, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving innovation in architectural engineering.


• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical proficiency in building systems, and a passion for sustainable design practices.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management:

• Analyze and interpret architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and building codes.


• Oversee the planning stages to ensure proper alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical guidance throughout the design, construction, and maintenance phases of building structures.


• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.

Site Inspections:

• Perform regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure that work adheres to design specifications and safety protocols.


• Identify and resolve any technical issues encountered during construction.

Quality Assurance:

• Enforce quality control procedures to guarantee high standards of construction and materials.


• Review and approve construction materials and components to ensure they meet project requirements.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with the project team to ensure effective integration of engineering solutions with overall project goals.


• Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project progress, including daily logs, inspections, and technical documentation.


• Prepare detailed engineering reports and presentations to support decision-making and project milestones.

Sustainability & Innovation:

• Advocate for sustainable design practices and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance the environmental impact and efficiency of the project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in architectural engineering or a related field.


• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and project management principles.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).


• Expertise in creating, editing, and reviewing architectural drawings and plans using industry-standard software.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
