Job Overview




  • The Sales Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive sales performance and support strategic decision-making.

  • This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the FMCG industry.



Key Responsibilities




  • Sales Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.

  • Performance Reporting: Prepare comprehensive sales reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance metrics and insights

  • Forecasting: Assist in the development of sales forecasts and budgets, using historical data and market analysis to predict future sales performance.

  • Strategy Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to identify purchasing behaviors, preferences, and potential areas for upselling or cross-selling.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to sales processes and systems, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the distribution operations.

  • Data Management: Maintain and update sales databases, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, mathematics or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes is an advantage.
