Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Site Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations at our construction site.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for budget management, cost tracking, payroll processing, and financial reporting to ensure the project's financial goals are met.

  • This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction finance, and the ability to work closely with project managers and site teams.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage the site’s financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Process payroll for site workers and handle expense reimbursements.

  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs stay within budget.

  • Prepare and present financial reports, including profit/loss statements and cash flow analyses.

  • Reconcile accounts, including vendor payments, invoices, and purchase orders.

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure accurate tracking of materials and equipment expenses.

  • Provide financial insights to project managers to support decision-making.

  • Assist in auditing processes and ensure timely submission of financial documentation.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.

  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.

  • Strong understanding of cost control, project accounting, and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
