A reputable Insurance Broking firm, a major player in the Nigerian Insurance Industry with proven track record of excellence for four decades seeks to hire a result-oriented professional as its Head of Northern Region (Sales/Business Development).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's marketing and sales initiatives
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets
- Effectively communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Aggressively grow the firm’s customer base
- Participate in Client review meetings, external audit feedback sessions and new business tender processes
- Build and Enhance strong relationships with existing and potential clients by offering viable solutions
- Make necessary improvements to ensure optimal operating efficiency across all functions of the business
- Prepare and submit monthly and periodic activity/sales reports on the success of your sales endeavours
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Insurance, Marketing or other related field
- Must be an Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria or Chartered Insurance Institute, UK
- 5 - 8 years of High-Level Sales/Marketing Experience
- Minimum of 5 years Management Experience in the Insurance Industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Personality: A go-getter, enthusiastic and results-oriented
- Ability to Build, Manage and Lead High-Performance Teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Good reporting skills
