Job Duties

• Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.


• Identify and teach skills that will develop students’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively


• Teach subject specialization to students, following the school's curriculum and standards.


• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, materials, and assessments.


• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods, share resources, and support student learning.


• Participate in department meetings, staff training, and school events.


• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.


• Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and academic programs.


• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Qualification and Skills

• Possession of a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in English Studies or equivalent courses to the related field.


• NYSC Completion is Compulsory.


• Skillful in 21st-century teaching and learning


• P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.


• Must be fluent in English Language (written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.


• Must be passionate about Teaching


• Must be conversant with 21st-century ICT Tools.


• Must be an excellent team builder and player.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


• Teaching certification or qualification.


• Must have a minimum of a year of teaching experience.


• Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical knowledge.
