Job Summary
- As a Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of construction projects, working closely with the Project Coordinator as your direct line manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Explicitly implement project designs and construction works schedule as instructed by the Project Supervisor or Executive Assistant for project management and coordination.
- Ensure adherence to the approved designs and project schedule throughout the construction process.
- Take charge of coordinating the activities of masons, laborers, and all ad hoc staff assigned to your projects.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with project team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Work closely with the Project Supervisor, Executive Assistant, and external structural/quality control team (consultants) to ensure conformity with the company's standards and offerings to our subscribers..
- Ensure that construction works align with project designs and specifications, without errors or inconsistencies.
- Implement the company's project checklist to maintain quality assurance throughout the construction process.
- Optimize the utilization of financial resources and materials allocated for site use.
- Take responsibility for minimizing wastage on-site and be held accountable for resource management.
Requirements
- Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification, including COREN, NSE, or equivalent, is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer in the real estate and property construction industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of construction practices, project management, and quality control.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting project designs and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills to ensure smooth project execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
