Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join our teamThe Auditor will be responsible for examining financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing insights to enhance operational and financial efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of financial statements and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Examine and analyze financial records, accounting systems, and procedures.


• Prepare detailed audit reports and provide recommendations for improving processes and controls.


• Assess risks and identify areas of non-compliance or inefficiencies.


• Collaborate with management to develop corrective action plans.


• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure improvements are achieved.


• Evaluate the organization’s adherence to legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.


• Assist with the preparation and submission of tax returns, if applicable.


• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and auditing practices.


• Provide support during external audits, ensuring timely responses to queries and documentation requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA is an added advantage.


• Proven experience as an Auditor or in a related role.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations.


• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
