Job Description
JOB DUTIES / DESCRIPTION
- Manage all accounting operations including but not limited to Cost Accounting, Treasury, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition etc.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and support month-end and year-end close process.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Financial Systems and technology. Ensure quality control over financial transactions/reporting leading to efficient financial processes and data integrity.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Team leadership and mentorship. Provide mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Serves as a business partner and member of the organization strategic team and also in other roles as assigned by the board of directors
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA etc.) is a must.
- Must not be below 45 years of age at the point of applying.
- 15+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
