Job Description




  • Prepare and file periodic federal, state, or local tax returns (- PAYE, WHT, Corporation tax, ITF, etc) as required, by due dates to avoid penalties.

  • Handle all tax-related matters; tax planning; liaising with the tax consultants on issues bordering on tax queries from the tax authorities

  • Advise management on the tax impact of corporate strategies and business activities/operations, and the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.

  • Review such accounts monthly to ensure all postings to the general ledger are accurate.

  • Daily process intercompany transactions to ensure that company books are up-to-date



Job Qualification




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required 

  • Professional qualification in Accounting or Tax e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACTI is mandatory 

  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is an advantage

  • A good knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Business Acumen 

  • Sound written and oral communication skills 

  • Analytical Skills and Negotiation Skills

  • SAP proficiency (MM and SD) 

  • Financial reporting & analysis 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, sumif etc.).
