Responsibilities

• Adhering to safety regulations and ensuring all equipment is safe to operate.


• Ensure for timely start of the production during the startup (Production starting after the planned shutdown or after weekends break)


• Collaborating with other department to ensure seamless packaging operation.


• Close monitoring of the product for its shape and density to maintain the quality and also to control the waste.


• Hourly updating of the production log book.


• Ensure GMP and GHP always to get the standard product at all the times.


• Proper monitoring and control of the product wastage, laminate and nylon wastage


• Scaling of the product waste shift wise hand over to shift supervisor and ensure to reduce continuously with proper minimization.


• Ensure to pack with the standard product specification in each pack, in case the product is not filled in the pack, make sure the casual packing the pack to notify you to correct the problem of the machine.


• Proper Laminate alignment, fixing and scaling to machine to achieve desired result.


• Checking for correct batch coding on the laminate before loading the laminate on the machine and same to be recorded in the register.


• Identifying and implementing process improvement to optimize packaging operations.


• Proper documentation of all the production related data.


• Maintain accurate records and registers of all the production activities in your shift.


• Performs such other related functions as may be designed by Line Mgr.

Requirements

• Minimum educational standard: Trade Test, SSCE, OND, B.Sc. and HND in Engineering either Electrical or related.


• Professional Membership of the Engineering Institute is an added advantage.


• Minimum of Three (3) year Upwards in similar roles experience majorly in Food and other Manufacturing Industry.
