Job Description

• You will be responsible for setting up and calibrating all packaging machines, arranging manpower in specified areas, and coordinating with Machine operators and supervisors to achieve specified targets given by the production manager & Shift Managers with a specified laminate wastage.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Ensuring proper set up of machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order.


• Ensure for timely start of the production during the startup (Production starting after the planned shutdown or after weekend break) by operators.


• Supervise Proper maintenance and cleaning machines and tools before and after each shift.


• Monitoring Calibration of machines at the beginning of each turn.


• Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.


• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.


• Supervise, Maintain activity logs and hourly production reports of operators.


• Perform safety checks on every machine.


• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.


• Taking note of material needs. e.g. packing materials, are ready and available at all times.


• Prepare and Maintaining Daily closing stock of all packaging materials.


• Provide relevant information regarding progress to Shift Managers.


• Allot, Supervise and Monitor manpower arrangement and distribution on the shift as per plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational standard: Trade Test, SSCE, OND, B.Sc. and HND in Engineering either Production, Food, Electrical or Mechanical related.

Experience:

• Minimum of Four (4) years Upward in similar roles.
