  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will assist in executing various HR functions, maintain effective communication with management, and support the recruitment, training and welfare of employees.

  • The role also includes ensuring compliance with company policies, fostering positive employee relations and promoting workplace safety.



Responsibilities




  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of qualified staff to meet organizational needs.

  • Organize and cordinate staff training and development programs to enhance employee performance.

  • Maintain regular communication with various management teams to address HR related concerns and ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and fairness.

  • Facilitate external employee relations by addressing grievances and resolving conflicts amicably to foster a positive work environment.

  • Ensure employee safety by monitoring workplace conditions, provide support to injured employees, including accompanying them for medical treatment when necessary and ensure employees' safety is priotized.

  • Manage and maintain HR records anddocumentation accurately.

  • Provide general support to the HR department in daily operations.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • 2-6 years of experience as an HR professional.

  • Should have prior experience managing a workforce of over 30 employees.

  • Proven experience in training or cordination and organizing of staff training programs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, humility and a positive attitude with zeal to work in a diverse work environment and adapt to dynamic situations.

  • Strong organizational, time management skillsand keen level of tolerance

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Knowledge of Nigeria Labour law and human resource processes and procedures

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft word, excel and power point and other computer softwares.
