Description

• Candidate is responsible for day to day plant material handling and heavy loads lifting operations


• Responsible for using the crane to lift heavy loads


• Responsible for offloading of containers


• Ensures the availability and usability of tools and tackles used on the cranes


• Ensures the credibility of all wire slings, ropes and lifting belts used on the crane.


• Ensures housekeeping and general cleaning of the crane


• Keeps maintenance records and daily reports log book


• Experience in crane operations


• Basic rigging skills

Requirements

• TRADE TEST II + 16 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE


• TRADE TEST I + 8 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE


• OND IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
