Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to applicable safety standards (e.g, Explosive rules,MSMD, and local laws).


• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessment in the explosive handling and storage areas.


• Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety protocols and procedures.


• Conduct safety training programs for all personnels.


• Develop strategies for mitigating risks identified during investigations or inspections.


• Evaluate and improve safety equipment and PPE compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety & fire Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.


• Certification in advanced Safety training.


• Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial safety.


• Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation


• Physically fit


• Candidates within Kaduna or close proximity is an added advantage.
