The Role




  • The Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for managing vendor relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the company secures competitive pricing while maintaining quality.

  • The role involves sourcing suppliers, building and maintaining vendor relationship, analyzing quotations, and collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to achieve procurement efficiency and CaTS business growth objectives.



Key Responsibilities

Vendor and Supplier Management:




  • Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers aligned with the company’s service offerings ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain a vendor database, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Rank and track supplier performance based on pricing, quality, and response times to drive continuous improvement.

  • Eliminate intermediary suppliers where feasible, aiming to reduce reliance by 80%.



Procurement & Pricing Strategy and Execution:




  • Manage all Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by sourcing suitable suppliers and vendors.

  • Assess and compare quotes to prepare detailed cost breakdowns to generate Client’s Sales order.

  • Collaborate with the commercial and Technical team to optimize pricing structures.

  • Develop strategic pricing plans and processes to improve revenue optimize profit margins.



Operational Efficiency:




  • Ensure all procurement requests are addressed within agreed SLA timelines.



Cross-Functional Collaboration:




  • Collaborate with project managers to align procurement activities with project goals.

  • Liaise with internal teams to support pricing, procurement strategies, and operational goals.



Qualifications and Skills




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
