Job Responsibilities




  • Drive new business development by identifying, targeting, and acquiring new clients and markets.

  • Lead the identification and segmentation of potential market segments, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Generate revenue through new account development and maintain key account relationships.

  • Define and implement marketing processes, ensuring their seamless execution.

  • Develop and present relevant business proposals tailored to client and market needs.

  • Monitor market intelligence, tracking industry trends, new projects, competitive activities, and customer developments.

  • Conduct and lead meetings with key clients, fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of banking products, recommending strategic alignments for optimal outcomes.

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and achieve corporate goals.

  • Ensure consistent follow-through, leveraging resourcefulness to meet and exceed organizational objectives.



Job Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or a similar role, ideally within the microfinance or financial services sector.

  • Proven expertise in identifying market opportunities and driving sustainable business growth.

  • Strong track record in key account management and client relationship building.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

  • Solid understanding of microfinance banking products and industry dynamics.
