Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Secondary School Leadto join our team at Howbury School. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and a proven track record in fostering academic excellence and holistic student development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the secondary school, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and values.


• Oversee curriculum development and implementation to achieve academic excellence.


• Lead and manage a team of teachers to ensure effective teaching and learning practices.


• Monitor and evaluate student performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.


• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment for students and staff.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.


• Ensure compliance with educational standards and school policies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage).


• At least 5 years of teaching experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.


• Excellent knowledge of curriculum standards and secondary school operations.


• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
