Job Description

• The Statistician Intern will support our statistical analysis and research projects. The intern will gain advanced experience in statistical modelling, data analysis, and interpretation. This position is ideal for an MSc holder looking to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical and impactful setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.


• Perform advanced statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights.


• Develop and implement statistical models and techniques.


• Assist in the design and execution of experiments and surveys.


• Use statistical software and tools for data analysis and visualization.


• Ensure data integrity by performing rigorous cleaning, error checking and validation


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide statistical support for projects.


• Prepare detailed reports and presentations of analytical findings.


• Contribute to the development and optimization of data collection methodologies.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated from an MSc program in Statistics or Biostatistics


• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, probability, and data analysis.


• Proficiency in statistical software such as R or Stata


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and presentation skills.


• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.


• Experience with large datasets and database management is a plus.
