  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager with a strong science background to lead our sales efforts in the construction chemical industry.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support sales initiatives.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand customer base, and increase market share.

  • Provide technical expertise to support sales initiatives, including product demonstrations, trials, and presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients

  • Identify new business opportunities, develop sales proposals, and negotiate contracts.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

  • Lead and manage a team of sales engineers and technical sales specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or science related field

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a related field, experience in construction chemical is an added advantage

  • Strong understanding of chemical processes, plant operations, and construction methods is an added advantage

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and developing effective sales strategies.

  • Experience leading and managing teams, including sales engineers and technical sales specialists.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
