  • We are seeking a dynamic professional to take on the dual role of Lead Instructor and QA Specialist in Manual Testing. This unique position combines teaching aspiring QA professionals with hands-on quality assurance work for Darey.io’s products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual testing, a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and a passion for education.



Key Responsibilities:



Instructional Duties:




  • Design and deliver a comprehensive manual testing curriculum, covering topics such as test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect reporting, and documentation.

  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions and workshops to equip students with the necessary skills for QA roles.

  • Develop practical exercises and projects that simulate real-world manual testing scenarios.

  • Mentor students, providing feedback on their progress and helping them build strong portfolios.

  • Continuously update course content to reflect current industry trends and best practices.



QA Specialist Duties:




  • Perform hands-on manual testing for Darey.io’s internal and customer-facing products to ensure the highest quality standards.

  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects.

  • Document and report bugs, collaborating with developers to resolve issues promptly.

  • Conduct regression, exploratory, and usability testing to validate product functionality and user experience.

  • Work closely with the product and development teams to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving the quality of Darey.io’s products.



Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.

  • Proven teaching or mentorship experience, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.

  • Proficiency in using QA tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including black-box testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage both instructional and QA responsibilities effectively.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Certifications in quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

  • Experience with usability testing and user experience validation.

  • Background in instructional design or content development for technical training.
