Job Description
Role Summary:
As the Regional Sales Manager for Abuja or Ibadan, you will lead sales operations within your assigned region, driving revenue growth, managing a high-performing sales team, and expanding Drugstoc's presence. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, fostering strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute a robust regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives to build a motivated and high-performing team.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team and regularly review performance.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and other stakeholders in the region.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Market Expansion
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within the region, including underserved areas.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to roll out promotional campaigns and new product offerings.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze regional sales data and market trends to identify insights and drive informed decisions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Compliance and Standards
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Drugstoc’s operational standards in all activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the regional market dynamics in Abuja or Ibadan.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
