This is a hybrid internship role for a Bookstore Associate located in Lagos with some remote work flexibility. The Bookstore Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, handling sales transactions, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the store. Additional responsibilities include restocking shelves, processing online orders, and supporting promotional events and activities.
Qualifications
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Sales, inventory management, and cash handling experience
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and basic computer skills
A passion for books and reading
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in relevant fields is a plus
