We are looking for a talented Insurance Professional to join a growing and dynamic team focused on developing Casava’s innovative insurance products. In this role, you'll assist the concept of delivering and crafting an experience that makes insurance affordable, simple, and enjoyable.

You’ll collaborate with Casava’s actuarial, underwriting, and risk experts to impact the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements. You'll also work in the Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval and work closely with the Product team to implement these features—with Casava’s brand values always at the forefront. 



Key Responsibilities:



In this role, you’ll be responsible for;




  • Assist with the management of insurance policies for clients, including renewals, claims, and amendments.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding insurance products, claims, and policy details.

  • Review and process insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.

  • Maintain accurate records of client accounts and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding issues.

  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate risk assessment and coverage.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and insurance products.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on claims, renewals, and policy changes as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards in all tasks.

  • Participate in training programs and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in insurance.



Job Requirements



The right candidate might have…




  • The best candidate for this role has in-depth knowledge of insurance, and financial service product sales, is a self-starter, takes ownership and is result oriented. Other expectations include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or STEM

  • Candidate must be an associate member of CIIN

  • Capacity to work with cross functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge of underwriting, claims, and reinsurance strategies, as well as compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills, both written and verbally, Impeccable attention to detail and inquisitive mindset.

  • Must be able to identify gaps in our Insurance products and brainstorm on quality solutions.
