Job Summary




  • We are looking to engage a Contract Administrator, who will assist the Project Manager/Project Team in preparing, reviewing, processing, analyzing, and tracking contracts, revisions, and contractual correspondence to optimize operational performance and minimize risk.



Job Responsibilites




  • To maintain compliance with contracts with external clients/suppliers/vendors; ensure alignment of PMT actions with Project Terms and Conditions.

  • Interface with the project team, internal departments, and external clients/suppliers/vendors on matters such as compliance with contractual requirements, and variation orders.

  • Review contracts for ambiguities, identify potential contractual risks, and propose corrective actions.

  • To support in the negotiation of claims and disputes with external clients/suppliers/vendors.

  • To support the Project Manager and Project Team in risk analysis and management.

  • Ensure written communications between the company and external clients/suppliers/vendors are consistent with Project Terms and Conditions.

  • To maintain registers of change orders, claims, and agreement expiration dates.

  • Generate reports on the status of existing agreements; participate and minute pre-bid and project meetings.

  • To review insurance requirements with the insurance carrier(s) and interface with Legal/Procurement to ensure insurance policies are issued/renewed as required.

  • To assist with the certification and warranty clauses of Project works and awarding completion certificates; ensure orderly closeout of contracts(s).



Requirements




  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar field.

  • 3+ years of related experience within the oil & gas or construction industry.

  • Basic knowledge and comprehension of accounting, supply chain, and legal principles pertaining to contracts.

  • Ability to spot inconsistencies and errors, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.

  • Good writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Tech-savvy with Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, and handle deadlines and interruptions while ensuring work is complete and accurate.
