Design, plan, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure related to oil & gas facilities, including pipelines, storage tanks, roads, and buildings.
Perform site assessments and prepare reports on structural designs and project progress.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in all engineering activities.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure the project runs on time and within budget.
Review and approve construction plans and technical drawings.
Conduct risk assessments and propose engineering solutions to mitigate risks.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
Conduct inspections and supervise on-site construction work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Prepare cost estimates and project documentation, including detailed reports and progress updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on oil and gas field projects.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, engineering principles, and project management.
Experience with design software and engineering tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
