Job Description
LOCATION: Osogbo, Osun State.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily production, processing, and packaging operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, ISO22000).
- Manage inventory, logistics, and supply chain.
- Implement efficient production planning and scheduling.
- Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and performance targets.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and process improvements.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
- Manage plant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Optimize profitability through efficient operations and cost reduction.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead and manage a team of production, technical, quality, and administrative staff.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA).
- Implement and maintain quality control systems (ISO 9001).
- Oversee food optimum safety and hygiene practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15 years of experience in food processing, preferably in cashew processing.
- Vast international knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control, and industry standards.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, FSMA).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
