Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Physics to secondary school students, inspiring curiosity and critical thinking in the subject.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons in line with the school curriculum.


• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.


• Conduct regular assessments to monitor students' progress and provide feedback to students and parents.


• Organize practical sessions and experiments to enhance students' understanding of Physics concepts.


• Prepare students for internal and external examinations with structured revision and support.


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities.


• Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment in the classroom.


• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and effective teaching environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Education (Physics), or a related field.


• A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in Physics at the secondary school level.


• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for teaching.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Must be residing in Ibadan or within the South-West region of Nigeria.


• Proficiency in the use of technology for teaching and record-keeping is an added advantage.
