Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights.


• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulators.


• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews, highlighting areas of opportunity and risk.


• Assist in the preparation of the company’s annual budget and periodic forecasts.


• Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights for corrective actions.


• Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing for strategic planning.


• Provide actionable insights into improving operational and financial performance.


• Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and industry standards.


• Identify and address financial risks, recommending mitigation strategies as required.


• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and business strategies.


• Support strategic projects, including pricing models, new product launches, and geographic expansion plans.

Competency Requirements/Skills

• The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following competencies:


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.


• Familiarity with financial software (QuickBooks).


• Strong understanding of financial metrics relevant to the ISP/telecom sector.


• Ability to work with complex datasets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.


• Proactive and innovative in finding solutions to financial and operational challenges.


• Strong presentation skills with experience in preparing management reports and dashboards.


• Understanding of the ISP industry, including revenue models, cost structures, and market dynamics.


• Ability to connect financial outcomes to operational performance and business strategy.


• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with senior management.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ICAN are preferred but not compulsory.


• 2–4 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the ISP or technology sector.


• Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
