About The Role




  • The Senior Treasury Manager will lead the organization's treasury function, focusing on managing liquidity, mitigating financial risks, and optimizing capital resources to ensure business continuity and profitability.

  • Operating in a challenging macroeconomic environment, this role will play a critical part in addressing foreign exchange liquidity issues, mitigating risks from currency devaluation, and maintaining robust relationships with banking partners to secure favourable terms and outcomes.



Key Responsibilities

Liquidity Management:




  • Ensure efficient cash flow management to meet operational and financial commitments.

  • Develop and maintain robust cash forecasting models.



Risk Mitigation:




  • Implement strategies to mitigate foreign exchange and currency devaluation risks.

  • Develop hedging strategies to minimize financial exposure.



Banking Relationships:




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and banking partners.

  • Negotiate favorable terms for credit facilities and other financial arrangements.



Capital Optimization:




  • Analyze and optimize the use of capital resources to support business goals.

  • Monitor and manage debt levels to maintain financial health.



Regulatory Compliance:




  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.

  • Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations affecting treasury activities.



Team Leadership:




  • Lead, mentor, and develop the treasury team to achieve operational excellence.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in treasury, banking or corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and liquidity management.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
