About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English and have a deep understanding of cultural nuances and business terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Translation: Accurately translate documents, contracts, and other materials between Chinese and English.


• Interpretation: Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and negotiations.


• Localization: Adapt content to specific cultural and linguistic contexts.


• Proofreading: Review and edit translated documents for accuracy and clarity.


• Cultural Understanding: Bridge cultural gaps and facilitate effective communication between Chinese and English-speaking teams.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.


• Strong translation and interpretation skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Proficiency in translation software and tools.


• Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, or a related field.
