Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:




  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.

  • Present menus and answer questions about menu items, specials, and promotions.

  • Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.



Order Taking and Processing:




  • Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers.

  • Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system.

  • Communicate specific dietary needs or special requests to the kitchen staff.



Serving Food and Beverages:




  • Serve food and drinks in a timely and organized manner.

  • Ensure dishes and drinks are delivered to the correct customers.

  • Refill beverages and respond promptly to customer requests.



Cleanliness and Hygiene:




  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.

  • Set up and clean tables before and after guests leave, ensuring readiness for the next service.



Cash Handling and Billing:




  • Present the bill to customers and process payments (cash, card, or mobile payment).

  • Accurately handle transactions and provide receipts.



Problem Resolution:




  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a calm and professional manner.

  • Escalate issues to management if necessary.



Team Collaboration:




  • Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure seamless service.

  • Assist colleagues during busy periods or whenever needed.



Upselling and Promotions:




  • Upsell menu items such as desserts, drinks, or specials.

  • Inform customers about ongoing promotions or new items.



Job Qualifications




  • Interested candidates should possess an OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 1 year work experience.
