ENTOURAGE INTEGRATED TRUST LIMITED is looking for an objective and FIELD AUDITOR in PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE who is open to work anywhere in Nigeria to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement. 



Responsibilities 




  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process

  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk-aversion measures

  • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee

  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum

  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions

  • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

  • Keep a check on processes and regulations

  • Ensuring staff compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Travel to a different state for auditory reviews and assessments.

  • Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings.

  • Providing solution to company's internal problems 



Requirements and skills




  • Proven working experience as an Auditor in a Microfinance or Lending company 

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

  • Sound independent judgement

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • A strong aptitude for math.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • A keen interest in the financial system.

  • Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills.

  • HND/BSc degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related field
