Job Overview
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Billing Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in handling billing and invoice processes, along with proficiency in managing insurance-related tasks.
- Familiarity with Zoho is preferred, and prior experience in the healthcare sector (clinics/hospitals) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process all billing and invoice-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Handle insurance billing processes, including verifying and processing insurance claims.
- Communicate with clients and insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain and update billing records and documentation in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and summaries as required.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to billing processes.
- Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide support for audits and reconciliations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree / HND in any relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in handling billing and invoice processes.
- Familiarity with Zoho software is preferred.
- Ability to manage insurance-related billing and claims processes.
- Knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry, including clinics and hospitals, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex billing systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
