JOB SUMMARY




  • The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and manage the organization's social media presence, creating engaging content and supporting brand communication strategies for the Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Social Media Management:




  • Create and grow social media profiles across platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat)

  • Moderate comments and engage with audience across social media channels

  • Develop strategies for targeting and engaging potential donors and partners

  • Produce social media graphics and compelling stories



Content Creation:




  • Develop appealing and appropriate content for various social media platforms

  • Assist in social media analytics and reporting

  • Support campaign events through social media channels

  • Help pitch the organization to potential donors and partners



Brand Promotion:




  • Maintain and update social media profiles with consistent, high-quality content

  • Engage with social influencers

  • Develop monthly newsletters and communication materials as requested

  • Support overall brand image and communication objectives.



Required Skills:




  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong copywriting abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines

  • Highly organized

  • Excellent design and creative skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and proactively.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing & communication & others

  • Marketing & Social Media certification is a plus

  • Knowledge of global health or development issues is desirable.
