- As the Senior Human Capital Executive, you are responsible for providing support in the various Human Capital generalist functions, which include employee entry, development, and exit activities, as well as activities with relevant statutory bodies.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assist the Human Capital Manager with generalist HC matters, including recruitment and staffing of superior workforce across the Group within a specified time frame, reviewing and developing policies and procedures, compensation and benefits, employee performance, punctuality and absence compliance management, and exit management, and recommending changes
- Assist in the set-up and preparation of performance review exercises and appraisals, and employee development programs, and give recommendations as required
- Set up and execute an annual employee training system; conduct orientations, facilitate in house and external trainings as at when required that will improve employee productivity
- Assist in the review of policies that will promote best practices and behaviour among employees and enhance employees’ productivity; seek and resolve employee grievances
- Assist in enforcing the company’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction; carry out periodic surveys to improve method and stay up to date with information and best practices in Human Capital Management
- Inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommend benefit programs
- Assist in protecting the interest of employees and the company in accordance with the company’s Human Capital Policies and government laws and regulations
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements for all positions to meet the requirement of the unit and achieve the objective of the organization
- Maintain historical human capital records by designing a filing and retrieval system, regularly reviewing the status and accuracy of any applicable HRMS
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participate in professional societies
- Promote effective internal communication and engagement amongst employees and within the Group
- Perform other role-related duties as may be assigned by the Human Capital Manager
Requirements
- Minimum of a First Degree in a related field
- Professional certifications/memberships are an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience working in generalist HC environment
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning,
- Ability to maintain and handle sensitive and confidential information
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
- Positive and result-oriented attitude
- Commitment to see tasks and activities to the end
- Technology driven and excellent use of HC softwares and applications applicable, including MS or
Google Products
