Job Summary
- As a Human Capital Executive, you are responsible for providing support in the various Human Capital generalist functions, which include employee entry, development, and exit activities, as well as activities with relevant statutory bodies.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assist the Human Capital Department with generalist HC matters, including sourcing and follow up on the recruitment of superior workforce across the Group within a specified time frame, reviewing Policies and Procedures, compensation and benefits, employee performance, punctuality and absence management, and exit management, and recommending changes
- Assist in the set-up, preparation, feedback and documentation of performance review exercises and appraisals, and employee development and annual training programs; conduct orientations, facilitate trainings programs as at when required that will improve employee productivity
- Assist in internal communication activities and employee engagement; hear and resolve employee
grievances; counsel employees and supervisors
- Assist in enforcing the organization’s culture and adherence to the company’s code of conduct and external policies; carry out periodic surveys for improvement and stay up to date with information and best practices in Human Capital Management and labour law
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements for all positions to meet the requirement of the unit and achieve the objective of the organization
- Maintain historical human capital records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records; and regularly reviewing the status and accuracy of any applicable HRMS
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participate in professional societies
- Update all assigned trackers and assist in the preparation of accurate HC reports for the department
- Perform other role-related duties as may be assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of a First Degree in a related field
- Professional certifications/memberships are an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience working in generalist HR environment
- Ability to maintain and handle sensitive and confidential information
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law and HC practices
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
